ICAS NY Event

ICAS Fundraiser in New York

Friday, December 2, 2011   20:00 - 23:00

Speaker:
  • Tomonori Yoshizaki

Dear Friends of TUJ, ICAS, and the KJ Group,

It is my pleasure to invite you to a special fundraiser for the Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) Institute of Contemporary Asian Studies (ICAS) in New York City on Friday, 2 December 2011 at 8pm.

I will be in the city for a few days to reach out to our alumni and friends and would like to take advantage of the opportunity to bring you up to date on current initiatives for both TUJ and ICAS. Robert Dujarric and I will also lead a discussion on Japan’s recovery after the March 11 quake.

This event will be primarily in support of ICAS. Since its inception in 2004, ICAS has organized countless lectures, seminars, and conferences and served as a focal point for discussions about Asia and published articles, op-eds and research on Japan and Asia. As part of its outreach programs, ICAS organizes informal discussions and co-sponsors larger events in New York City.

I hope that you can join us for this event.

Sincerely,

Bruce Stronach
Dean
