New York City TUJ Korea-Japan dinner

Professor Ayumi Takenaka.  She will lead discussion on “should and can Japan become a land of immigrants?”   Given Japan’s declining population — and more important a decline in its labor force – and low fertility rate, immigration appears as one of the logical solutions to the country’s demographic crisis, but it also raises complex issues.
